To a city with a population of only 50,000 people, Harrisburg has a surprising number of monuments.
There are several reasons for there being so many monuments in the city the first and most obvious reason is this long history Harrisburg was one of the original city founded in Pennsylvania.
For a short time, it was even the US Capitol.
Add to that is still to this day the state capital several of our monuments are connected to that. A tour of the state capital is truly an experience to remember the art is beautiful the statues are truly one-of-a-kind.
